In May 2012 Fronius Company – a leading manufacturer of welding equipment and power generation using photovoltaic cells, acquired the office building and warehouse in Gliwice with intent to use it as a FRONIUS POLAND headquarters.
In September 2011, we launched a tender for the designer and general contractor for the reconstruction of the building with an area of 2680 m2 and to adapt it to the new needs. The decisive factor upon winning the tender was Interbiuro’s experience and skills, which were presented during the bidding process. The design work began in November 2011, GNP was obtained in February 2012; reconstructions were carried out in two stages, they began in December 2011 and ended in May 2012 one month before the agreed deadline. Throughout the construction, the building was used by the owner, which required proper management of the project. As a result, the warehouse with office facilities has been transformed into a multi-functional building with modern offices of an area of850 m2, the exhibition and training part which allows presenting of welding equipment and new technology, the service part (750 m2) was set up with diagnostic equipment and devices dedicated to inspection and repair, and a warehouse part (1080 m2). We have done all the construction work, as well as, all the installation work and the industrial work (compressed air). The high standards imposed by Fronius Company, the conduct of the work and its quality, have all been fully achieved.
